XAT Exam 2016 : Registration process Started
XAT Exam 2016. Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is the national level aptitude test conducted by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) for admission to its flagship business management (BM), Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR) programmes and 15 months full-time residential GMP (General Management Program). The XAT exam is one of the highly competitive exam after CAT for admission to management programmes in Xavier Institute of Management and Goa Institute of Management. The XAT exam is conducted every year by XLRI and thousands of candidates appear in the exam to pursue Management courses from some of the reputed B-schools in the country.

XAT Exam 2016
The XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) 2016 will be conducted on January 3, 2016. The official notification regarding the same has been released on its official website. XAT is a paper-based exam, which is taken for admission into academic programmes of XLRI (Xavier Labour Relations Institute) and XAT Associate Member Institutes.
The registrations have started and the last date for the registration is November 30.
The exam is conducted by XLRI on behalf of the XAMI. The application form for the XAT exam 2016 will be available in the third week of August and the last date to fill the application form will be in the month of November. The score which is obtained in this test is used by more than 100 institutes for admissions. The admit cards can be downloaded from the official website of XAT prior to a week before the examination.

The candidates are required to log on to xatonline.net.in and click on register, create a new account with your personal email id. After registration a unique XAT ID and registration link will be send to them.
If the candidates are interested to apply for XLRI, select the programme of your choice Business Management (BM)/Human Resource Management (HRM)/Global Business Management(GBM)/General Management Programme (GMP). Those not interested in any of the XLRI programmes can skip this step.
Payment can be made through three ways:
Through VISA/Master Credit/Debit Cards
(American Express Card is inadmissible)
IDBI Net banking (this option is available only for IDBI account holder)
Please take a print out of the XAT Pay-In-Slip visit nearest IDBI bank and make the payment.
Please make a DD made from any Bank in favour of “XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT” payable at Jamshedpur.
All those candidates who are interested in appearing for this exam, should have completed three years of graduation or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university from India/abroad. Those candidates who are completed their final examination by June 10 may also apply.
XAT is a pen-paper based exam. The exam will be of three hours duration, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
The paper will consist of four sections namely, Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation and General Knowledge. The marks obtained in GK section will not be used for determining the percentile and cut off at first stage of selection. However XLRI and some other Associate Member Institutes may use it at the time of final selection.
The last date for applying is November 30
